Haven't found anyone testing the Mavic 2 following a dirt bike traveling fast and uphill, so I took it out last week on one of our rides with the group. Thanks slow Dave for being my subject. He was doing about 30+ miles per hour and the Mavic 2 kept up pretty well in profile mode, but as soon as Slow Dave passed under the bird, it lost him. This seems to be pretty normal behavior of active track. None the less, it did a pretty good job in keeping up and keeping Dave in the frame. More tests to some soon.

That was the first time, so I was keeping it under control. Next weekend Im going to do some more and see how it does.

They say it's about 45miles per hour so try to test it

This is fascinating. I'm a scientist, and my MP drone was paid for with grant funds by my research committee- thus, I do not have the liberty to experiment and torture test the project drone.

That being said- I'm really curious: what was active track, and what was pilot? Were you ascending, or did it recognize the increase in elevation?
