Disabling Charging Androids FROM Dji controllers???

Other than rooting phone, or adding external battery to the 2nd Mavic port, is there a way to gsve Androids NOT sap power from the controller? My Mavic RC runs down quickly!

You can Root your Android Phone and install the APP from the Play Store named "Charge Limit" or you can try cutting the black wire within the USB cable that is illustrated in the following YouTube Video . Note: Some have had success with this method while others claim it does not work. Must be differences in the phones and how they handle no black wire connection.
