DJI GS Pro POI usage costs $ to use. Anyone know why?

The POI functionality in DJI's Ground Station Pro costs money to use (pay as you use). Litchi has POI capability built into their software so it's there when you buy the app. Does anyone know why DJI charges for this? Is it perhaps a more elaborate POI than Litchi?
From what I've seen on various youtube videos, it doesn't look like I'm missing much by using Litchi's POI instead and saving $

It‘s not only POI. It‘s 3D POI. You can generate 3D maps with that function. DJI sees this capability in the professional market and so they charge for it too ...
