I asked the bird for ID. It refused. Said it can't carry a wallet, it's too heavy and doesn't make for good aerodynamics.

Even a small swallow can be a hazard. They just don't give up and are way too agile and fast in all directions. Typical flying insect eaters (like the bird in the video) are not easily intimidated by full speed up or sports mode. If I spot birds preying on insects high in the air I usually try to stay far away from them.
