Drone-hacks Mavic air 2

Hi everyone I’m new here I’m trying drone hacks and when I plug the drone in to it it is not finding my drone Mavic air 2 and won’t let me log in or press enter anyone know why I’m doing it on a laptop does it need to be a pc

Dronehacks requires a PC or laptop with Windows 10 or 11. Nothing else will work.
I had some trouble connecting my Mavic 2 to my PC, and it turned out that the drone and/or Dronehacks is very picky on the cable you use. The best is to use the original cable that came with the drone. Or try different cables, and be sure it is a data transfer cable - not just a charging cable. Many cheap cables are only for charging.
Insert the cable in the drone immediately after you hear the beeps at startup, then wait a few seconds and start the dronehacks app.

Possibly dumb questions.... but... you may have created an account, but have you bought a license? Are you using version 1.47 or are you trying to use version 2?

The DH app will connect to the drone even without a purchased license. The parameter editor in the app can be used for free.

Works also with Windows 8.1. I used it last year. worked without any problems.

And yeah the licence is brought an everything downloaded but it’s searching for drone but not finding it

No, version 2 is not for Air 2 drones. You need version 1:

D-H v.2 is the new GUI specifically for the newer drones, the original owner(s) of D-H have recently sold out to another bunch of hackers and to be frank: experience taught me to trust the old D-H, but I'm still a bit wary of the "new & improved flavour".

Software that creates temp files/folders/directories which cannot be removed makes me uncomfortable.

Try downloading PRIVAZER, install it as an expert user and run the FULL SCAN option. It'll take a while if your 'puter is a bit slow... but it will scour all the crap out of your hard drive, shred all the temp files, clear the free space and make your machine run more smoothly. Been using it for years and swear by it.

I had also recently had failure with DH. It either works great or just nothing happens. I’m considering not working on anymore drones requiring flashing. I also have the pyserial process on my laptop. That has worked a couple times but my last few attempts I get nothing. I even deleted everything and redownloaded everything again. I’ve asked questions on their discord but I get ignored. If it isn’t about a license you purchased, they aren’t paying any attention to you.
