If you are using Remote ID then yes you could be tracked. UT has a lot of privacy laws related to drone surveillance. You may be just as legally wrong as the illegal pot growers.
If you take still photos the EXIF data will contain the coordinates. I would continue to fly your missions as you normally do and send selected photos to police anonymously.
Unfortunately the use of drones by DEA and local police will only get more expensive thanks to banning use of PRC built drones by these agencies.
