I am new to the photo world, and really enjoying my Mavic Pro. I was wondering if there are Post fanatics available on here for more, or are there people that will edit photos and video clips until I find and learn a program?

The best thing you can do is get a few programs for editing photos and videos and just start learning! It may be slow and painful at first, but it pays off in the end!

CF, to the best of your knowledge, are there people on here that can or would act as a mentor to a newbie as far as bouncing thoughts and ideas off of and assisting as I learn more about the MP capabilities and photo editing

YouTube is your best bet.
I'm not saying that there's no one here to be able to mentor you but YT is your 1st step.

You can definetly bounce ideas off the guys here! Just make sure you search the topic you have questions about first as many things have been throughly discussed already. Lots of people ask questions about video/photography so you aren't alone either. -CF
