yes and thats my stupid mistake I was practicing on some clear acrylic and then for got to reverse the letter again oh well S H I can fix it tho I think LOL

What laser engraver do you have? I am considering purchasing one so I can do some laser grip stippling on firearms.

I have a Rabbit Laser 6040 60 watt co2 If your thinking fire arms or metal engraving you proabaly want to look at Fiber Lasers. My Laser will engrave just about everything except bare metal.
Fixing mine heck just buy a new topshell 9 bucks.Might buy a couple case anyone wants a custom engraved MA LOL thing is they come from China and take 4 or 5 weeks to get here

Good info! The stippling would be done in the composite lower assembly. Not the metal slide (upper).

Would your laser work with composite?

Looks like he's using a Fiber Laser or a Galvo. Yes mine would do this if its not bare metal. I can do coated metal, like Painted, anodized, powder coated, Cerkoted . The process would be slower with a co2 vs a fiber but would still do the job.
