every week I charge up my batteries, thinking I will find some time to fly.
every week I end up putting it all away again.

That's not good for your batteries. If I think I might go flying tomorrow, for example, I get up early and check the weather forecast including wind speed. If conditions look right, I throw the batteries in the charger along with the controller and charge them before leaving. Granted, I get up early, but I use a high output charger that charges three batteries simultaneously and plug the controller in separately.

With FPV its always finding a buddy that can go with you! We always seem to have conflicting schedules!
