Thanks Chris, this is my favourite time of the year. We don’t get the beautiful colours you get in the east but still great photo opportunities.

Thanks Chris, this is my favourite time of the year. We don’t get the beautiful colours you get in the east but still great photo opportunities.

Yeah, but you have the mountains to make up for it.

The colours are more muted this year - not as vibrant as last year. It’s probably because we had a hot dry summer and even September was hot with temperatures up to around 28C some days. Our temperatures are more reasonable now (mid teens) but still on the warm side for this time of year.

Nice shot of course but reckon our colours are better. Will try to get up tomorrow but we are suffering high pressure cloud which is impenetrable so no sun to lift them.
