Having just upgraded from the 2 to the Mini 3 Pro, I did some testing yesterday and found that the focus was hunting a lot, something I never got with the Mavic Mini 2. I appreciate there are limitations with AF and a lot of the time MF is the better option, however I have noticed on-line that there has been several reports of AF issues and quit a few returns to retailers!
1. Is there any tests I can do to make sure the AF is working within its limitations?
2. When taking off and the AF is set to on and the drone is at the right height, should I select a focus point in the middle of the screen before commencing with the flight on a lateral path?
Or should the drone just work well with AF and only produce the odd glitch, like my Mavic Mini 2 did?
Any advise appreciated.
Thanks in advance
