Files save to one drive

Hello, maybe someone here can help me. I am new to video editing, and I have a problem. I bought a new windows 10 computer and now I find that whenever I try to transfer files from my SD card to the computer, the files automatically get uploaded to onedrive instead of staying on my hard drive. How do I stop this? If I buy an external ssd drive will that stop this from happening? What an annoying feature!

How do I stop this?

In OneDrive settings just disable that feature.
