Hi everyone,

I read somewhere that dji says you should always have the drone unfolded before powering on, is this only for the props test pre flight?

I would like to use the camera and gimble for some filming indoors holding the drone by hand.

If I removed the props before turning on the drone, is there still any reason the drone should be unfolded to be powered on?

Thanks

You must unfold the arms before starting the motors. It is perfectly fine to power on the AC with the arms folded as this is the manner in which the IMU is calibrated.
