Finally took the plunge...

Welcome to the club! Watch plenty of crash videos on YT. When it arrives you will know what not to do .

I too got my Zoom a couple weeks ago and am getting my re goggles this weekend.

Will be interesting to see how they work for shows and video games as well.
The goggles are made for the Mavic. The DJI goggles RE works with my P4P obsidian and my spark. I just dont like the wire between goggles and controller. With the mavic you get live view from tablet and goggles at the same time without wires.

Thanks for the advice. I have done my share of watching crash videos on phantom 4 pros. I am searching this forum for known issues that could cause a crash on routine flying. Most of the stuff I learned from P4P applies to the mavic too imo.

I have the RE goggles and find them a bit bulky for any extended period of time.

They are bigger but I think the quality makes it worth it.

I bought them for my kids to wear while I am flying. I do use them from time to time. There’s a little bit of visual interference from the goggle framework so there is a little bit of getting used to that. I also find that they strain my eyes a bit up in the corners of the screen. When using the HDMI input I have to scale the screen smaller. I also don’t sit in the first row at the movie theater either so of course mileage will vary.

I don't have the Goggles but they seem cool --- are they 1080 screens to take advantage of the 1080 live view of OcuSync 2.0 ??
