I was meaning to, but was nervous of losing the drone. I know it sounds mad but because I couldn't see or hear it, I got a bit wobbly, lol.

Wow! I thought you were brave flying over water if this was your first flight. I didn't recognise anything from my youth until I saw the Newport Bridge in the background.

Think of drone video like a photographer thinks about a photograph. Get to a safe altitude, "frame your shot," then fly toward the most interesting thing in that shot. Don't make quick, radical "adjustments" left or right. Those jerks ruin good video. And, remember at least the three most basic drone shots: flying straight toward or away from something; flying sideways parallel with something and circling. Do those shots, edit out any bad parts and you'll always have a good, viewable video. Good luck. Keep at it.
