First Firmware Update /Connecting the Mavic 3 with the RC Pro

I booted up the new Mavic 3 with the the stock controller, then the RC Pro arrived today. I paired it with the Mavic and it asked to do another firmware update. Last time I looked at the RC Pro it was telling me the update was at 91%. The controller appears to have shut off , but the Mavic 3 is still flashing. Is this normal? Do I reboot the RC Pro? I just don't want to do anything that is going to brick the 3.
