I bought myself a pro2 and Mini after not flying for the last three years or so. My last drone was a phantom 2 which never gave me any confidence whatsoever. Always had issues and I felt it was permanently on the edge of flying away. Plus it was such a bloody noisy thing that just drew too much attention and it was a huge lump to carry about.
So to be able to fold up a drone was a big thing to me and I missed being able to capture stuff that only a drone could when I was on holiday. Anyway these are two videos that to be fair weren’t planned and was just the footage strapped together on lumafusion from me popping my cherry with the new breed of drones just for the hell of it.

I own a M2Pro, and I thought there'd be no contest between this and the Mini, however your video from the Mini looks so bloody good! I'm really surprised that there doesn't appear to be a lot of difference. What are your thoughts on this?

I completely agree, once it’s loaded on to somewhere like YouTube and it’s compressed then there really isn’t a huge difference. In real world though the pro2 obviously has better quality video, it flies so well, doesn’t care about high winds, superior distance, better 20mp camera and flies quicker to get you you to the point you want to film. BUT that mini for its price tag is just so good.

The Mavic Mini is really good for its price point, but don't forget the M2Pro can shoot in 4K. You would have seen more of a difference had the video been shot in 4K.

It was shot in 4K on the pro but got compressed by YouTube to the same 1080p as the other footage did. It was originally much better than the 2.7k of the mini.

Was this after a few hours to allow YouTube software to complete the conversion? Also check you settings in YouTube, but still allow the time.
