f1pipass ....you are very creative.
I watched @ twice the playback speed and halved your 36 min production.Thumbswayup
I bet your coffee/tea was cold by the time you finished LOL.
As a fellow MPP flyer, am Looking forward to the next chapter outcome.
Wishing you every success from Down Under.

Hi MM, thanks for sitting it out... I make the vids at this speed so people can watch , go and make lunch, come back and not miss anything...

SMO results:
First flights are full of jello!
Fiddling with settings and using ND filters help but first impression of the mod are not good.
One thing it IS teaching me is MANUAL camera settings, both SMO and M1P, so that can't be bad and may improve my aerial photography.
Thanks for the encouragement MM, it is really appreciated!

Several weeks ago I rigidly mounted an AirPro 2 camera (GoPro knockoff) to the top of my Mavic Air 2 and compared the drone video to the AirPro 2 video. The difference was enlightening. I don't think we tend to give enough credit to the fantastic work that the drone gimbal does for us ... and I don't think you will be happy with a piggyback camera unless it has one as well.

The AirPro2 has a very wide angle lens (essentially 180 degrees) so the view looks a bit different, but the two videos are identically sync'd in time. The native color correction is clearly different and I didn't bother to try to equalize it.

In case anyone should think that the AirPro 2 was wobbling around on the drone, check out the props that you can just barely see on either side of that video ... they are stable in the picture.

yep, I tend to agree about the drone/gimbal tech being more amazing than we give it credit for.
I am considering trying sd filters to try but will not hold my breath.
Thank you for sharing your findings AZDave!
