Like a blue ribbon, the Moselle winds its way between Trier and Koblenz through one of the most beautiful river valleys in Germany.
The Moselle flows through an area that has been cultivated by man for over 2000 years, since the Romans first cultivated it.
In some places, the terraced vineyards seem to rise almost to the sky. Some of the best Rieslings grow here.
A large number of castles tower over romantic wine villages on the banks of the river and you can find enchanting villages everywhere.

Was stationed at Hahn - just off the Mosel. Was going to Berncastle-Kues and other Mosel towns often. Visited many of the castles on the Mosel and Rhine that was in area.

Was stationed at Hahn - just off the Mosel. Was going to Berncastle-Kues and other Mosel towns often. Visited many of the castles on the Mosel and Rhine that was in area.

The rhine is also very beautiful, the whole region is worth visiting.
