So I am about to buy the Mavic Pro Fly More Combo plus a filter kit, landing gear
and probably a landing pad.
I have an iPad Mini 3 that has been paid off long ago so I might as well use it.
While I have a few extra bucks should I get anything else?
Sun hood? A decent hard case? Goggles...?
Open to suggestions.

Thanks.

Ok, my additional budget at the moment is $400-$500. As time goes by I am sure my inner addict will kick in and my Amazon Prime free shipping will call to me....
Looking at what I would really miss right out of the gate and kick myself for not having.

Personalize your Mavic and make it yours. Get some decals or wraps for it. and as mentioned above a case is a must

Kiss goodbye to that $500 lol

There are so many things you can 'add-on'

Personally, I wouldn't buy the fly more bundle. Take that $300 and spend it on accessories you really want and need. The only extras in the bundle worthwhile are the two extra batteries.

The bag with the bundle isn't great. Charging hub? The blue third-party charger is cheaper and faster. Do you really need a power bank adapter?

Buy a couple of batteries, the good third-party charger, filters, landing gear, a decent bag or case and the landing pad. If you're going to use your iPad mini, probably an Anker 12-inch lightning cable would be good.

I support this. If I recall correctly you only save about $80 vs. buying the whole kit piecemeal, which is only worth it if you will use EVERYTHING that is included. I didn't feel like the quad charger, power bank adapter, or backpack were worth it, which were collectively well over that $80 savings.

I initially ordered the base drone kit, two batteries, and two extra prop pairs. I've only felt the need to add to that via a hardcase (NOT the DJI bag - the one I got is cheaper and better) and some basic filters. I also bought one of the opaque shades that replaces the gimbal cover, but I'm not thrilled with it and wouldn't suggest it. If you have more money than time the quad charger MIGHT be worth it - I don't, so it wasn't.

Good advice...I ended up buying the Fly More anyways, got for an additional $80 off so $160 savings.
I do think I will use most of it including the car charger and probably the adapter to top off my phone or tablet. The case might get used for a quick “throw things in and go” use.
I added Refresh Care, FSL 32” landing pad, MC hard shell water proof compact case, FSL 4-pack lens filter kit, FSL landing gear and a 64GB SanDisk Extreme microSDXC card. And stayed in my budget.
Thanks for the advice guys. Now for lots of reading and video watching before I fly.
