The West Highland Free Press used to do some brilliant cartoon sketches on them. I’ll have a dig around… and low flying aircraft too.

McCurdie's exhibition is no more, sadly. iain used to write sketches and plays for the Gaelic TV and radio, and do translations for whoever.

Sorry to hear that, I would loved to have seen more of his work.

I so nearly moved to Skye in the mid 90’s, even bought a plot ready to build and had a Highlands Enterprise grant lined-up to startup a film processing lab in Portree. And then I got wind of what was likely to happen with digital cameras. Close shave!

Sold the land, which is where part of the AROS Centre stands.

Certainly miss my time there and not sure swapping midges for mosquitoes was a good idea.
