Flying in the Mojave Desert

Hello Fellow Americans!

I'm planning a trip down to Las Vegas for a bachelor party and planning to do some dune buggy-ing. Are there any restrictions flying in the Mojave Desert?

Always thought the USA banned drone flying in National Parks or State Parks.

The majority of the Mojave Desert is not in any type of park and away from Edwards AFB. I'd find a back road and go fly! I was based at Edwards AFB back in the 1950s and drive across Hwy 58 to Hwy 40 a few plus times a year. You have restricted Military Areas just East of Barstow but dependent where your coming from there are thousands of desolated areas off of Highways 58, 15, and 40. Don't park on a major Highway but take a back road.
