When I flew my MP1 indoors, I disabled the RTH and was able to set it to hover in the event of a lost signal ?

With my new Mini, I can't seem to find an option to disable the RTH ?

How do I go about doing this?

There's the Signal Loss setting. Go to SAFETY>ADVANCED SAFETY SETTINGS> Signal Lost - RTH/Descend or Hover. Guessing you don't want RTH when flying indoors but if within 20 meters from take off, the mini will just land.

Also bear in mind that any RTH behavior depends on a working GPS system. In my experience GPS rarely works inside, and consequently RTH will never activate.

No. The home point is set by and in the drone when it powers up, if it can see enough satellites. If it looses satellite connection, it still has the gps co-ordinates stored within it, but cannot do anything with it because it has no new co-ordinates to compare it with, and hence has no idea what direction to fly in to go home.

Thanks for the info

Unfortunately, I live in a restricted zone, so I'm not even able to take off in my own living room

I don't know where your living room is (as your location isn't in your stats). Just cover the top of the mini so the GPS sensor can't get any satellites and the app won't know where your living room is either and whether you are in a restricted area or not. Just be prepared that if there also isn't sufficient lighting the mini will go into ATTI mode which changes the flying characteristics, which is OK to fly in as long as you are prepared.
