Greetings, I have been reading about the issues gimbal and people have been suggesting to check that the gimbal is under the tabs. My question is, is there any reason that the gimbal should be put above the tabs for like transport purposes or something like that, or should the gimbal always stay below the tabs?

No, you shouldn't put it above the tabs or you will stretch the rubber dampers. The way that people usually put the gimbal plate above the tabs is by crashing it. :)

The tabs circled in yellow with the rubber dampers strung around them should always be below the bottom surface of the frame (red lines). If not, your gimbal won't caliibrate.

Ok, that is what I thought. I just didn't know if the gimbal should be secured from vibrations by putting it above the tabs when not flying or being transported between flights, but as you rightfully said, it would stretch the rubber dampers which is a bad thing. <smile>
