Goggles 2 motion controller combo on sale

I just noticed that the Goggles 2 motion combo is on sale for US$639 down from $799 on DJI’s website and Amazon store. I am wondering whether this means a newer model is on its way.

I just got a Mini 3 pro in August, so my timing is off. Would a new model be backward compatible with M3P, assuming they will do one sometime in the future, near or far?

The newer model is the cheaper Goggles Integra. It's time to try to clear out the more expensive Goggles 2 so they are on sale.
