Googles fw work if different to MP?

Hey guys, does anyone happen to know if the I can use latest fw on goggles but keep my MP on .900?

I will buy the RE goggles and someone on another thread said that they will work without any issues. I also have .900 on my mavic pro...

Bought them last Friday. Head tracking works fine!
