I’m really surprised that Amazon has not been on the warpath against all the political bovine feces.

Gotta love how rich our country is getting on tariffs at our expense. Had to buy batteries for my golf cart and choked on the cost increase. The battery company is US, but try buying any lithium based battery that doesn’t use cells that are produced in China. Impossible.

Does the present government understand we are not at war with China? Do they understand that it is impossible for us to build electronics at the same cost as China.
If you want to compete with China ...(well you cant) and Mostly because of all the Government loopholes an American manufacturer has to go thru to simply turn on their lights, let alone produce a product?
Is our current administration contemplating a shooting war with China? and if so, Do they actually believe that such a war would last longer than a few hours.
This is NOT the 40's and it doesnt help china target a thing if I call a sherpa in India from a HAM radio in California. anymore than my video of My nephews wedding taken from my Drone would help them win a war with the U.S.
If our two countries ever decide to do that I figure we all have about an hour or so to live. I think we can all see the reality of that..Our government somehow cant. thats a big problem and kinda scary to me...
Our present Administration wants to make policies that would protect us in some Imaginary protracted war with China. They may as well make policies that protect us from little green men! oh no I just gave them a new idea!
Gaming consoles are made in China there is one in every American household and you don't hear a peep out of the government about those WHY..They sell like hotcakes and there is plenty of tax money being made.

U.S. soybean exports to China dropped dramatically in 2025 from 985 million bushels in 2024 to just 218 million bushels, with nearly no sales since June. The Chinese bought $12.6 billion in US soybeans last year. This is going to hurt the farmers far more than the DJI ban will hurt us.

I agree and farmers dont need any more problems. Here in California tons of crops are rotting in the fields because the migrant workers are afraid to come here and work!

And if you were using a DJI drone designed for agriculture, like the T30, then you have a new problem with getting it serviced.

I'm just sitting here in Blighty, following this subject - so I'm not looking at the same problems on my own home turf (... yet ...).

The breadth of this crackdown (call it what it is) seems to becoming more clear with routers, 'Ring' type cameras and now even HAM equipment coming under the cosh. I'm appalled.

I avoid videos with clickbait subject lines. They are going after Chinese companies that make radio equipment. It's the same companies that were added to the 2019 NDAA and the Covered List.
