I'm on the same boat, would want to get my MP insured for good measure besides DJI Care.

I know for sure that state farm does not cover drones in ca. I have not found nor heard of any other insurer. I am just living with dji refresh

I called safeco and the agent gave me a $16/month quote and $250 deductible for the drone.
