Hawk Attack

Just purchased the Mavic Yesterday and within 24 hours, a neighborhood hawk attack my Mavic on its 3rd flight.

Crazy! Glad it recovered and didn't plumit to the ground. I had a hawk about the same size circling my drone really fast when I was flying in Thailand. I was on a boat too over water, I just brought the drone down as fast as I could and the bird flew away. I was picturing something like your video happening.

Any damage done? I have a bird in my neighborhood that will attack anything. I have seen it attacking cats. It has swooped in on my Mavic a couple times but a quick increase in altitude gets it away.

wo! That’s some angry bird. I had eagles circle the drone but never attacking. Seems like he touched the gimbal, any damage?

What's up with that recovery? It tumbled and then recovered is that typical? Just awesome!

I had the same issue. I was flying backwards and got a great shot though.

Good thing the hawk did not took it hostage or worst took it and tried to feed it to her baby hawks.
