Thanks- I noticed the Red LED lights went off whilst I was flying - was this because it was cold??

Most likely the setting to turn off the front (red) lights when recording is on. It's a good thing, especially if you film at dusk (the red glow shows up in the footage if they are on).

UPDATE: The option may have been removed and it is just automatic. There is however an option to keep them on all the time.

It used to have this option...
