Welcome, from a new (1 month) Mavic Mini owner. I made a conscious decision to purchase the lower priced Mini rather than the MA2. I don't regret that decision. Would I like to own the MA2? You bet! If money were no object, I would have bought both of them, or at least the Mavic Air 2. But I've seen too many people throw money at a new hobby, only to burn out over time and have expensive equipment sitting in a closet or in storage. (think SCUBA) If my interest lasts - as I fully expect it will - I can consider moving up to the MA2 or whatever is hot at that time.
The Mini feeds my interest; in no way does it detract. Would I like a more expensive drone with more options and higher quality video and photo? Sure, but I'm learning the ropes, so to speak, with my Mini. I have a long way to go before I am happy with my skill at flying and taking photos and footage - and editing them. When I think the Mini is holding me back, I may THEN consider trading up.
