How accurate is Airdata wind speed ?

Hi, I flew my MM in a bit windier conditions, just to learn how it reacts in the wind, (short distance flight, in safe environment, always in line of sight).
I would expect windspeeds with ghusts like 6-7m/s (sometimes with headwind drone speed was about just 4.5m/s in sport mode). However, Airdata from that flight shows windspeed 3.6m/s only. Even that day was propably most windier I flew recently, Airdata windspeed data of that flight was one of the lowest value.

The question is if Airdata is showing real windspeed as measured by the drone during the flight ? Or, does it show data from forecast models, like UAV, which do need to be accurate for the exact moment of the flight ?

I can't comment on the accuracy but the wind speed and direction is calculated from the angles that the drone's tilts to resist the wind.
If it came from forecasts, it wouldn't show constant variations through the flight.
It would also be worthless as there are many reasons why forecast winds could be significantly different from the actual wind you observe where and when you fly.
