You can get the Refresh plan easily for 48hrs after you register the drone. After that time you can still get it but DJI will require you to submit flight logs... get it while it’s easy!

DONT FLY THE DRONE!!! Until you register it with DJI care refresh. The minute it arrives go on the DJI site and pay the money and put in the serial number located on the wing or in the battery compartment. Take a snapshot of the SN and save it. Than you can fly and crash to your hearts content. Print out the agreement and read it. It takes 1-2 minutes for DJI to take your money. Its amazing what you can do to your drone. Its a rip roaring PITA to get care refresh once you fly it. One important point is the care refresh is only good if you return the drone. If you lose it, it voids the care refresh. SO ALWAYS GET YOUR DRONE BACK! The erudite individuals on this site can help you track it down if your having a really bad day. Read the forum on how fast does a drone sink. It doesn't matter if you have care refresh and you cant get it back..

Is there other insurance that might be better. Can your attach a drone to a homeowners policy?
