very nice design, but please be careful charging ANYTHING inside a drawer or confined or closed space; i have had occasion to investigate numerous residential and commercial fires where rechargeable items left in drawers (and in some cases put in with clothing - like your example of a dresser) experienced a failure/fault and ignited. By the time you are aware of the issue (if your fortunate enough to be home) the fire will be well advanced.
this has included "juice box" type power packs, drone, camera, and laptop batteries.
the safest place to charge any battery system is on a non combustible surface someplace where you can monitor it, in open air (or a battery bag).
if you think your wife complains about stuff left out.. . . . . . .
