Hi, everyone. I'm new here to the forums! I hope someone can give me a little assistance on this topic.
I have a DJI Mavic Pro 2, and I'll sometimes use it to create an orthophoto of an area. I like using DJI Pilot because it sets up the flight for me and is very simple to use. However...
I have a neighbor who would like me to fly over his property and create an orthophoto. However, the property covers about 300 acres and has an elevation change of 700 feet. If I started the mapping on the top of the property the drone would be flying 1100 feet off of the ground on the lower property area. I know this exceeds the maximum allowable AGL elevation, so I'm not sure how to get around this. Also, will the orthophoto come out with scale issues if it flies at different AGLs during the flight? Is there a way to have the drone track the AGL elevation and maintain that elevation above whatever portion of the ground it's over?
Any help would be appreciated!
