I've encountered some issues when trying to film hyperlapses for the first time today with the Mavic 4 Pro. For reference, I previously had a Mavic 3 Pro and have successfully shot loads of hyperlapses with that using both the main camera and the 3x. I've also shot plenty of hyperlapses with my mini 3 pro too. The subject matter I was shooting today is one I've shot many times before without any problems so i'm experienced with selecting the subject and getting it all started. My favourite mode is Circle so I set it up like I always do and opted to use the 2.5 camera. I selected the subject like I always do and moved the drone wide left and then right to confirm it had a nice tight lock on the subject. Again, this was my regular process when using Mavic 3 pro. All started off as normal and the drone was very slowly curving in the arc I was expecting, then after about 6 or 7 seconds worth of imagery, I could see that it was no longer arcing and was just going sideways. I halted the hyperlapse and it was effectively showing that the subject tracking box was now sitting a fair bit to the right of the subject. I tried the same again, and this time after just about 20-30 frames I could see that it wasn't arcing as expected and once again the track had been lost. Lighting was really good - daytime and with the subject very clear and well defined.
I then decided to try the main camera in case the particular issue was just poor tracking with the 2.5 camera. I set up a hyperlapse in the same way, and selected the subject again. This time, with the main camera all was going absolutely fine up nicely arcing until it had shot about 400 frames and it then just stopped - the drone wasn't moving and no pictures were being taken, despite ample battery time remaining and about 100 images still programmed to be taken. It wasn't showing that it was in a pause status and essentially looked like it was still mid-capture but nothing was happening. So I stopped the capture. It looked like the subject was still nicely held in the centre with the tracking box around it, but I can't understand it just randomly freezing mid-shoot.
Has anyone else experienced any issues with the hyperlapses or got any ideas about what i've described?
