Hyperlapse not available without waypoints?

Hi All,

I've done a number of hyperlapses with waypoints that turned out great, no problems. Yesterday I tried twice to create a hyperlapse from a stationary position (no waypoints) and both times the files was not playable. Does anyone know if you need to use waypoints to get a hyperlapse, or is it perhaps a coding issue (which I've never had before) or if it's something else.

Technically that's a Timelapse, not a hyperlapse.

A hyper-lapse is a type of time-lapse where the camera is moving.
