I didn't know the MA had hyperlapse

It can shoot images at intervals- it is a trivial exercise to create a timelapse in software from those images.

Actually I’m most instances producing your hyper lapse in post rather than relying on the DJI routines will give better results.

My method is speeding up video.
Did it alot with the Spark too.

Not sure how the software does it.
I just say 2X, 8X, 10X or even adjust custom to the length I need.

Yes, I know it is not the accepted method of Hyperlapse.
But the effect is the same by definition - time lapse while the camera is moving.

Regardless of what the effect is it isn’t a a hyperlapse as might be performed on a Mavic or other DJI sUAV with the enabled function either by definition or the method of execution. That is the only point I am making with the intent of clarification only. There might be more than one person who will read the thread and wonder why they don’t have hyoerlapse as a flight mode.

Correct.
And I have seen the hyperlapse flight mode demonstration videos.
And in my opinion, it is as useless as Microsoft Hyperlapse software - stinks.
I do not like the obvious jumps of time between frames.
An effect when videos are accelerated.

Look, I know they developed that method because the editor has more control of exposure, color and other settings.
But I like to keep it simple.
4+4 = 3+5 = 6+2 = 7+1...all get to the same place.
Maybe we should talk about how I get 4K60 video from a Spark? :D
