Has anyone had this issue when trying to watch their hyper lapse any suggestions.

Have you updated to the latest firmware on the Mavic Air 2? Supposedly it fixes this issue when viewing 8K hyperlapses (that are created with the new firmware update)

I haven't updated it. Although I have tried one when i first got it about 4 weeks ago with the same result

I had same issue. I downloaded a Codex pack and used Media Player Classic (PC) and it works fine. Looks fine in Premiere as well.

The update that fixes this issue just came out in the last week or so.
