I have a Mini 4 Pro with the RC2 (with display) and Goggles Integra & Motion Controller 2. I'd like to have a spare drone and thinking about a Mini 3 Pro (Drone Only).
Is the Mini 3 Pro compatible with the RC2?

I know that it is supposed to be compatible with the Goggles Integra & Motion Controller 2 as well as the batteries.

Sir Michael

A back up drone is always a good idea even if there is no compatibility and by that I am making no comment about the compatibility of your two drones.

What is the DJI RC 2 compatible with?

The RC2 is compatible with the DJI Air 3 and the DJI Mini 4 Pro.

The Mini3P works with the RC1, a sad, crippled ancestor of the RC2.

Which aircraft, with which controller..

Looks like it won’t work.

In the table above, I do know that the motion controller 2 to works with the mini 4 Pro, but the table could be talking about the motion controller 1.

Thanks for the help guys!

I have both the Mini 3 and Mini 4 Pro. While the Mini 3 batteries are compatible with the Mini 4 the RC 2 remote is not compatible with the Mini 3 drone.

The Mini3Pro batteries although looking identical, are heavier than the Mini4Pro batteries. If Mini3Pro batteries are used in Mini4Pro they put the Mini4Pro overweight. Use the labels to differentiate between the two.

No it won't work..they both work on different occusync protocols.. the only thing that may work is the M3P batteries to the M4P drone with a firmware update.. cant even use M4P batteries with the M3 and M3P
This is just to let you know. I have a Mini 3 Pro and wanted to put a strobe on it. Doing so would have put the M3P over the weight of 250g. The battery weighs 80.2g. I had a look at the M4P batteries which look identical. That battery weighs 77.1g. Putting that battery in the M3P puts it just under 250g. I have 2 M4P batteries and have been using them in my Mini 3 Pro without any problems. I still use the M3P batteries in the drone but without the strobe attached, therefore keeping it legal. The model number of the battery for the M3P is BWX162-2453-7.38. The model number of the M4P battery is BWX140-2590-7.32. I may just be lucky but the above information is my experience if anyone wishes to try it.
