AWB is useless for the P4pro......colors on Mavic are a little too warm in my opinion and the phantom image appears to be sharper

If it was golden hour like he'd said, then I'm honestly quite impressed with the AWB on the M2P. It will be fun to see what I get when I get my hands on this thing. Hard to tell what is actually sharper at 720p annd with the varied flight paths, but I would assume the P4P would get it there.

Honestly, the fact that it's as close as it is, I find quite encouraging, my primary use case will be traveling through the Rockies in my Jeep and/or backpacking, this was the drone I have been waiting for.

Agreed on the sharpness and clarity. The P4P showed nice detail. Manual settings can take care of any color or exposure issues but I wonder about that sharpness. I've had many still cameras, some have a lower sharpness setting by default but sharpen up nicely in post. I don't have that much experience with videos. I'll have to see what will work for me.

I won't be reading too much into it, I would hope the creator would have matched aperture settings and all that, but I don't recall him stating that. There are a lot of things that could effect the IQ, but at the end of the day, that's still very nice footage from both machines.

EDIT: Ok, so I actually opened the vid in it's own tab and at 4k, and yes, I can absolutely see the difference. It would still be interesting to know the full settings for each.

Watched it in 4k on my 65" 4k vizio P65-C1. Looked great for both, but definitely the M2Pro was the better.

There could be a particular sweet spot when setting the Aperture, which is true for most DSLR lenses also. Not sure how much variation we'll see with the M2P camera until I use it. I want the drone for stills also.

It looks like the p4p looks sharper. I wish though he adjusted the color temp on one of the machines so they match ( i hate looking at a comparison video and one shot is on the warmer side and the other shot totally opposite)

I'd have much rather he set a specific white balance for both so we could compare the actual camera not just the white balance.
