Hello all. I grabbed my Mini out of the closet after 6 months of it sitting in its case. It was stored at room temperature, never been dropped or crashed and worked perfectly the last time I flew it last fall. Upon turning it on, I was immediately hit with multiple errors, including gimbal data errors, IMU calibration needed, etc.. I successfully calibrated the compass, but for the first time EVER, IMU calibration is failing over and over and the drone is randomly giving various gimbal errors. I updated the firmware, deleted and re-installed the DJI Fly app, nothing is working. IMU calibration fails EVERY time at 10% complete.

Any ideas? Or is my little drone bricked? Thanks for any help!

What are the numbers of the Errors?

I was gathering those for you and suddenly, I fixed the problem! Here is what I did:

IMU calibration failed repeatedly if I started with the drone in the upright position, as shown in the app. I'd read a few posts here about the issue and a few guys said "put in on it's right side, then the left, then upright sitting on its butt". I assumed they were saying those were the last three of five steps, since the app wants it first sitting upright, then on its nose, and then those last three steps. About to give up, I tried skipping the first two steps and starting with it resting on its right side which got it to 58%, then on its left side to 95% and finally on its butt for the final 5%. It worked!! I'm so happy!! Without this forum I don't think I would ever have fixed it. You guys rock, thank you!
