You have to connect ONE time to the internet to register your Mavic. After registering, no internet connection is needed anymore.

Thanks,will give that info to amazon 1500$ pkg was stolen fri driver was suppose to get my signature and check my I’d. Guess he was in hurry gave it to first person that said would signfor it,not even my name.I don’t have the internet,will let my nephew know he’s got some work to do when I do get drone. Thanks again

Carrier delivered my drone to wrong apt complex fri , called me yesterday to come and pick up drove half a mile to get. Hope my new Mav is more accurate then that.
