ipad for Zoom Meetings

Does anyone use a ipad and headphones for this purpose, once a week use? It will be for a hearing impaired lady who's almost 95 years old in the nursing home. Any suggestions would be appreciated as they will set it up there at the facility, but I don't know where to start as far as a good basic model.

I use a Windows Surface Pro, but they aren't cheap. Maybe an Android base tablet would work.

The iPad is a good tool for this purpose. It is easy to use and maintain and has a good looking display. I have used them for years to read, browse, Zoom, editing photos, etc.

Headphones. If this woman would tolerate in ear earbuds, I would recommend AirPods Pro 2. Their ability to connect with an iPad is almost automatic. They have some new hearing assistance technology that makes them approved as over the counter hearing aids.

Thank you for your response. We ended up buying it at the Apple Store today, a refurbished 9th gen. instead of buying it at Best buy. I have a set of Bose headphones that we're going to give her to use. She needed one for Church zoom meetings since she can't attend.

In our house, only the kids still use iPads—they love them for games, videos, and schoolwork. As for me and my wife, we’ve both moved away from tablets and rely mostly on our hewlett packard laptops for work and other tasks. They’ve been solid devices for everything from emails to streaming and even the occasional bit of gaming. That said, we probably use our phones the most throughout the day, whether it’s for messaging, browsing, or managing everyday tasks

I used my ipad 5 at lunch and breaks at work as well as flying my MA2.
