iPad Mini 2 and Mavic 2 pro controller

The controller will not charge an iOS device by default. You can turn charging on for the iPad with a setting in DJI Go 4. According to the manual (page 41), you will have to turn that setting on each time the remote control is powered on (I haven't tested this since I never want the RC to charge my iPad tablet).

The RC will always charge Android devices — there is no setting to turn this off.

I use an Iphone 7+ and I used this feature just one time in the past and never more, because the RC couldnt even keep the same level of the cellphone battery while flying.
It dropped about 15% of the RC for 10min flying+charging.
I do use a power bank to charge the iphone 7+ just before flying. If I start flying with 100% at the iphone, I can fly 4 batteries.
