iPad mini can’t connect to remote controler

Hi,

I have exchanged my android tablet Sony Xperia z2 for iPad mini 2 yesterday.
I tried to connect iPad mini to rc but without success. It can connect by WiFi with mavic but not through rc. I have tried using proprietary cable that came with mavic. I also tried apple’s usb/lightning cable. Nothing happens.
Connecting rc with Samsung s7 edge still work.
Does anyone know what could be wrong?

All seems to point to something with the lightning port on your Ipad, using an ipad is normally faultless without any faffing about. Turn off the ipad and look at cleaning the port with some contact cleaner or alcohol

If you are using back USB on rc you must unplug short cable on left of rc
