I have a Tello Ironman edition that I don’t fly, and a Spark that I do fly for fun.
There was an unfortunate soul on Craigslist that had to sell his new in the box, still shrink wrapped M2P to raise cash to pay a lawyer. So, being the kindhearted soul that I am, I took the drone off his hands. Yes, I opened the box to make sure it wasn’t full of rocks, and I activated it there to ease my mind that it wasn’t stolen.
This one is going to be for both fun and profit, as I am hoping to make a small amount of money doing some commercial work (yes, I have my Part 107 certificate).
I got the 107 because my employer is starting a pilot program to integrate drones into our maintenance inspection program.
