Mini 2 Kilkenny, medieval beauty in Ireland

Hello everyone,

Today I would like to share a video of Kilkenny, a city in eastern Ireland known for its well preserved castle (one of the nicest in Ireland) and the Medieval Mile, a long street in the city centre with many beautiful sights. Ireland is more known for its beautiful nature but Kilkenny is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the country and worth a visit.

Lovely video. You captured the essence of the city very well. Nice flights around the castle and the church. I always regret that my video editing software (Premiere Pro) does not presently allow for selective brightening of dark foregrounds when photographed against bright skies(high dynamic range images). Of course it is possible in Adobe Photoshop using MASKING. In this screen shot I was able to independently increase exposure of the church, then also with masking, increase the details in the sky. Here is the original and then the image edited with Photoshop MASKS. Note the brightened church, and the more detailed sky. (sorry for cutting off the top of the spires). click on images to enlarge

Interesting & enjoyable video, thanks you for sharing. I thought the music was perfect for that video. Beautiful countryside and the architecture is something to behold. A visit to Ireland is definitely on my bucket list someday.
