Latest update = more robust signal/increased range? Has anyone noticed an increase in range or signal strength with their DRI RC and the Mini 3 Pro since this latest update?

if you read other posts here it seems to be the consensus that the "enhanced transmission" of the update is simply about making remote ID available on the drone and ready for activation in the future

Actually, it is about the 4G dongle that can be used in China only at the moment. Nothing to do with transmit power or RID.

No, not noticed any difference.
That said, I have for testing purposes applied a FCC hack and it's definitely a game changer in terms of stability of video and telemetry feed.

Still however you can see, that if you face the Mini 3 Pro towards the controller, the reception looses 1 or 2 bars as the antennae is on the other side. But still, FCC power level is quite the thing here.
