Litchi is very good and many users find it more solid and reliable than DJI.
The best feature is waypoints and Litchi hub. Also auto record video, how often do you forget to press start on DJI. The voice prompts I find useful, some may find them annoying, but you can turn them off.
You will find loads of posts saying "Litchi crashed my drone" invariably these are pilot error, or just not learning how to use the app.
So for me, yes it is very much worth it, I use it about 50% of my flights.
Edit I have been using Litchi from my P2V+ days and on my P4 maybe 300 flights.

Probably 95% of my flights are with the Litchi app. I think the only problem I continually have is focusing, but I think it's manageable. The Litchi app makes it so easy to create a route of waypoints from my office or laptop and then download the flight at the site and just take off. To me it makes a drone a useful tool and not just an expensive plaything to annoy my neighbors!!!
